Liverpool
Airport is just 7 miles south-west of Liverpool City Centre. There
is no railway service to the airport.
Transfers are thus by bus to Liverpool City Centre.
The main bus is the route 500 bus that runs every 30 minutes from
in front of the terminal. This bus takes around 40 minutes into the
city centre.
The key stops are Lime Street Station, the main rail terminus and
very central for the city centre and the National Express Coach Station
just a few hundred yards past Lime Street. |

Liverpool Airport - City Centre
Bus - Route 500.
Runs every 30 minutes from about 05:00 to around 24:00. The route
taken involves a loop through Liverpool City Centre with stops in
all the main places including Lime Street, Queens Square and James
Street.
It takes about 40 minutes for the bus to reach the city centre.

is now a daily hourly bus running from Manchester Piccadilly Station
to Liverpool Airport.
Stops are also made at Eccles and Salford.
First bus from Manchester is at 04:00, last bus 23:00. The journey
takes around 75 minutes. The bus is scheduled to return from Liverpool
Airport 90 minutes after departing Manchester. |
